Childrenswear designer
   A designer possessing the necessary skills of an adult designer, as well as an understanding of children's proportions and related sizing issues. An awareness and comprehension of safety issues and laws specific to this market are also required. The computer software of choice in the twenty-first century is Adobe Illustrator, and a designer's proficiency in this software application takes precedence over individualistic sketching ability.
